Alumni Travel Program Connects Bearcats on a Global Scale
|
Exciting Excursions Offer World-Class Experiences, Bring Together Bearcats-for-Life
|
For more than two centuries, Bearcats have been making their indelible mark on the world. So it’s only natural that we want to see that world for ourselves. UCAA’s Alumni Travel Program is a great way to do just that, offering a range of tremendous opportunities each year for members of our UC family — alumni, donors and friends throughout the community.
Over the last two years, for example, groups of alumni have visited the widest variety of places — from Iceland to the Amazon, and from Greece to Singapore. Over the next two years, our itinerary includes trips to the Scottish Highlands, Alaska’s Inside Passage, Fiji and Polynesia, and Brazil and Argentina. And seeing these spectacular sites is always better when you’re with Bearcats. Our travelers love learning about each other’s UC stories while they’re learning about the places they’ve traveled to see.
That “learning” aspect is a prominent feature of the Alumni Travel Program. Our trips aren’t merely tourism; they’re also a form of “continuing education.” At each fascinating stop, the local tour guides provide a wealth of knowledge, history and cultural flavor, adding enormous value to the entire experience. As many of our intrepid alumni can attest, it’s part of a turnkey package that allows our travelers to only worry about having a great time.
If exploring the world alongside fellow Bearcats appeals to you, I encourage you to consider the many opportunities available through this program. It just might be the most fulfilling New Year’s resolution on your list.
