Make the Most of the New Year

VARIETY OF UC OPPORTUNITIES CAN TURN RESOLUTIONS INTO REALITY
|
The dawning of a new year is when many people dedicate themselves to some form of self-improvement and generosity to others. Thanks to the range of opportunities at UC, our alumni can keep such commitments fairly easily — on your own or with your fellow Bearcats. For example:
|
- If you want to add to your knowledge base — whether for professional or personal reasons — you might explore such avenues as micro-credentialing or advanced degrees through the Graduate College, or UC’s continuing education opportunities, including the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and the new Skills@UC, which offers a range of non-credit programs.
- To further your professional development, the UC Alumni Association recently introduced CareerNorth, an online platform that provides access to resources designed to empower, engage and support you on your career journey.
- UCAA offers programs designed to enlighten alumni about health and well-being; there’s a great one coming up next month.
- You can reconnect with UC and your college friends by visiting campus, engaging through our social media, and attending events on campus, online, or through one of our 50+ alumni networks.
- Thousands of alumni have strengthened their UC connections and their university over the years as UCAA volunteers.
- Want to see more of the world? Check out upcoming trips through our UCAA travel program.
- If you’ve been putting off making a will or estate plan, the process is simple through our complimentary online estate planning service, FreeWill.
- Through our personal philanthropy, there are countless within the UC community.
|
When you originally chose to attend UC, the benefit wasn’t limited to your degree and the career it may have led to. Your decision also delivered an entire ecosystem designed to be a resource to you throughout your life. I encourage you to explore the various ways that being an alumnus delivers great value — this year and always. As you embark on a successful 2025, we’re thrilled to be your lifelong Bearcat partner.
