‘BEARCATS REFERRAL PROGRAM’ ENCOURAGES ALUMNI TO RECOMMEND NEXT GENERATION
|
Who will make up our next generation of great Bearcats? We can help impact that through the Bearcats Referral Program, which encourages us to refer friends and family members to become students at our remarkable alma mater.
As alumni, we are uniquely positioned to convey why UC is the place to get a phenomenal college education and prepare for career success.
- Well over a century after founding cooperative education, we remain a Top 5 school for co-op and internships — and every student participates in some form of experiential learning.
- We have one of the world’s most beautiful and innovative urban campuses.
- The Bearcat Promise, UC’s covenant with its students, ensures that each of our graduates leaves with a degree and a strategically developed career plan.
- Student life is vibrant and fulfilling, from the array of extracurricular opportunities to the excitement around our membership in the Big 12 Conference.
- And we’re not simply in the city of Cincinnati — we’re fundamentally part of the community, always adding to its compelling mix of culture, energy and opportunity.
Each spring we celebrate excellence in our alumni family and honor a select few of our most outstanding Bearcats. In fact, just below is a wonderful story about Dr. Dean Kereiakes, A&S ’75, Med ’78, Hon ’14, who recently received our highest alumni honor, the William Howard Taft Medal for Notable Achievement. Like all others who personify UC alumni excellence, he was once an incoming student full of curiosity and potential. Today, it’s exciting to contemplate what’s in store for the new class set to arrive later this month.
The Bearcats Referral Program is a tremendous way to be involved in sustaining our university’s success while elevating the trajectory of someone else’s life. To start the process for someone you know, visit the “Refer a Bearcat” website and make your quick and easy recommendation. The UC Admissions Office will take it from there.
As lifelong champions of our university, all Bearcats play a role in sustaining and elevating our alma mater. Introducing prospective students to UC is a fitting and rewarding role for us to play.
Go Bearcats!
